Riders relax after the race |
The
first-ever series of Bandit Cross races has concluded with
another great event. This third, and final, race was hosted
in Bartlett on a challenging course that featured three barriers
(a double and a single), both of which were placed on run-ups
following 180-degree downhill off-camber turns! The course
also included some single-track through forested sections,
slow grassy sections, and paved bike path!
Another large group of approximately two
dozen riders showed up. These included Bandit rookies as
well as riders competing in their third Bandit Cross this
season! Following this event, these riders are already looking
forward to Bandit Cross 2007, which is good since more courses
have already been identified!
