The Pack--After the Race (with a fan) |
Run
under cool and sunny conditions, the ground was wet from
rain earlier in the week. The slow grass, while difficult,
would not prove to be nearly as difficult as the vicious
headwind on the start/finish straight. With gusts of well
over 30 miles per hour, each rider fought their way around
the course, which featured two hurdles and a gravel section
in approximately one mile.
